# Privacy Policy

## The short version

This is a small website for a retaining wall contractor. It collects what you choose to type into a form, plus anonymous, aggregate visit counts. It doesn't use advertising pixels or tracking cookies, and it doesn't sell your information.

## What we collect

-   **What you send us.** When you submit a form — a site visit request, the checklist request or review feedback — we receive what you enter, such as your name, phone number, email, address or neighborhood, and your message about the wall.
-   **Calls and email.** If you call or email, we receive your phone number or email address and what you tell us.
-   **Visit statistics.** Aggregate counts of page views, referring sites and device types (see Analytics below).

We don't ask for payment details, Social Security numbers or other sensitive information through this site.

## How forms are processed

This is a static website, so forms are sent (by a standard HTML POST) to a third-party form-processing service, which passes your submission to us. That service handles the data only to deliver it. Forms include a hidden anti-spam field; it doesn't collect anything about you.

## Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It is cookieless: it doesn't set cookies, doesn't build a profile of you and reports only aggregate numbers. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.

There are no advertising pixels, retargeting tags or social-media trackers on this site.

## How we use your information

Only to respond to you: to call you back, schedule a site visit, prepare a price, do the work you hire us for, and keep records of that job. NYC Retaining Walls may be operated or served by independent licensed contractors; if so, your request goes to the contractor who will handle your job, for that purpose only.

## What we don't do

We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. We don't share it with marketers. We don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one.

## How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and job records as long as we need them to respond, do the work, stand behind it and meet legal, tax and insurance record-keeping requirements. After that, we delete them.

## Your choices

You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we're required to keep. Call us or use the [contact page](https://nycretainingwalls.com/contact/) and say what you'd like.

## Children

This site is for property owners and managers. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

## Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
